Nashville Predators Collaborate with Black Leadership Collective

The Nashville Predators are making a significant impact in their community by collaborating with the Black Leadership Collective (BLC). This partnership aims to empower, educate, and engage key leaders and organizations within the Black community in Nashville. Jess Williams, the Director of Growth and Engagement of The Equity Alliance, highlighted the importance of this collaboration during a recent BLC meeting, emphasizing that the Predators are genuinely committed to social justice and community empowerment. The relationship began when the Predators sponsored the Black Women’s Empowerment Weekend, and it has since evolved into a robust partnership. The Equity Alliance, Tennessee’s largest Black-led social justice organization, has received support from the Nashville Predators Foundation through a Helper Grant, further solidifying their commitment to building political, cultural, and economic power within the community. Additionally, the Nashville Black Wellness Collective, led by Claude and Dr. Kimberly Walker, has also benefited from the Predators' involvement, focusing on promoting health and joy in Nashville. The Predators' front office staff regularly volunteers at community events, showcasing their dedication to fostering a healthier and more connected Nashville. This collaboration not only strengthens community ties but also reflects the Predators' vision for a more inclusive and empowered Tennessee.
