The Nashville Predators have signed forward Mavrik Bourque to a 6-year contract with a salary cap hit of $5.5 million.
The signing was announced by NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman on Saturday evening and later confirmed by the Predators on X.
The Predators acquired Bourque from the Dallas Stars in exchange for a 2027 2nd round pick and a 2028 3rd round pick.
Bourque's signing is a significant move for the Predators, who are looking to break their playoff drought after failing to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in each of the last two seasons.

Bourque played in 73 games in 2024-25, scoring 11 goals with 14 assists, and tallied 20 goals with 21 assists in the 2025-26 season.
So far in his 156 career NHL games, Bourque has 31 goals and 36 assists for 67 points.
He's also added a goal in 10 career postseason games, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.
