Nashville Predators Sign Jack Drury to Five-Year Contract

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager Chris MacFarland announced the signing of forward Jack Drury to a five-year, $22.5 million contract.

The 26-year-old Drury was acquired by the Predators along with forward Chase Bradley and a third-round pick in the 2029 NHL Draft from the Colorado Avalanche.

What happened?

Drury matched his career high in points last season with 27, appearing in all 82 games for the Presidents’ Trophy-winning Avalanche.

He scored a career-high 10 goals, all at even strength, and recorded seven multi-point games.

Why it matters for Nashville Predators

The signing of Drury strengthens the Predators' lineup, particularly at center, where he won 58.1 percent of his faceoffs last season.

This move comes as the Predators look to improve their standing, currently 10th in the Western Conference with a 38-34 record, on a L2 streak.

What comes next?

Drury will join the Predators for the 2026-27 season, presented by Regions Bank, with full, half, and quarter season ticket plans available.

The Predators are looking to bounce back from their current losing streak, and Drury's addition could be a key factor in their success.

Drury's experience, including 13 playoff appearances and a career-high 10 goals, will be valuable to the team.

He has also won the AHL's Calder Cup with Chicago and the Swedish Hockey League title with the Växjö Lakers.
